The GAIN at the launch of the Libreville Economic Network

The Gabon Angel Investor Network (GAIN) , the first Business Angels network in Gabon, participated on Thursday, February 26, 2026 in the official launch of the Libreville Economic Network , organized at the Hotel Le Cristal in downtown Libreville.

A unifying event for the Gabonese ecosystem

This inaugural after-work event, conceived around the theme "Connecting talent, expertise and investment" , brought together entrepreneurs, investors, experts and economic decision-makers in a spirit of collaboration and co-creation.

The objective: to create bridges between key players in the Gabonese economy and to structure projects with high potential.

GAIN in action

During the evening, GAIN presented its investment model based on the concept of Smart Money — an approach that goes beyond simple financing to offer startups strategic support, mentorship and access to a local and international network of experts.

Six projects were pitched to the audience, including four startups from GAIN's portfolio , all finalists in the APJA competition held during Entrepreneurship Week. A great showcase of the dynamism and talent of young Gabonese entrepreneurs supported by GAIN.

Gwenael NZE DE SOUZA presented the GAIN during this event, replacing our president Fabrice NZE BEKALE , who was unable to attend.

GAIN wishes to congratulate and thank Ernest CAESAR D'OLIVEIRA , initiator of the Libreville Economic Network, for the quality of the organization and the relevance of this initiative which contributes concretely to structuring the Gabonese entrepreneurial ecosystem.

GAIN supports innovative, scalable Gabonese startups with high growth potential, less than 5 years old, based in Gabon or with a strong local impact.
