What is AESIS?

The AESIS (Africa Early Stage Investor Summit) is the pan-African summit for early stage investment, co-organized by the ABAN (African Business Angel Network) and VC4A . It is the largest annual gathering of business angels, venture capital funds, investor networks and players in the African entrepreneurial ecosystem.

AESIS aims to:

• Mobilizing and diversifying capital for early-stage innovation in Africa.

• Promote collaboration between investors, diaspora and international partners.

• Equipping investors with skills and knowledge adapted to the African market.

AESIS is held annually in Cape Town, South Africa . However, in the weeks leading up to the summit, local Business Angels organizations organize Investor Meetups in various African cities and beyond (Lagos, Nairobi, Dakar, Libreville, London, San Francisco, etc.), allowing each local ecosystem to connect with the continental dynamics.
